Hydrolysed Whey

Hydrolysed Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) is the #1 most advanced post workout shake available today because the protein can be absorbed by the body nearly immediately and doesn't need digesting.

This product is a good type of protein for those who demand the absolute best and push themselves to the limit.

Hydrolysed WPI is been processed with enzymes to break down protein chains into smaller units which are "pre-digested", meaning that they bypass digestion and are absorbed by the blood stream very quickly.

It also renders the protein heat stable.

This product is not instantised with lecithin which gives maximum efficiency of absorption. Therefore, it mixes well but has slight frothiness (*unflavoured).

Due to the hydrolysis this product does not taste wonderful when unflavoured. Hydrolysis gives a bitter taste and it's for the hardcore. It could be mixed with our flavoured BCAAs or EAAs.

I thought after reading other reviews I would find this too bitter but I actually don’t mind it. The hydrolysed whey isolate is definitely much easier on the stomach than the whey isolate, worth the extra money in my opinion.

Seems good, very fine powder. Tastes bitter, just like Hydrolysed Whey Isolate is meant to.

It's really nice taste of dark chocolate, specially when it's blend with peanut butter..
Good job team.

Very good product but need to add some sort of sweetness to take bitterness out. Like artificial sweetness. NZPROTEIN REPLY: that doesn't work, we tried many things :)

I’m sorry, this is the first product of yours that is not very nice at all. It tastes quite chemically and gave me the worst gas I’ve ever had. 😢😢

I like the chocolate and raspberry, it's a bit sour but reminds me of a raspberry tart. Doesn't hurt my tummy.

Sharp taste. Kinda got used to it in time. Good otherwise.

I work a physically demanding job and found having a couple of servings of this a day helps me recover quicker.

You do have to get past the bitter taste to drink it.

Also if you mix too much it clumps. Less is more when making it. Also helps to let it sit for a couple of hours before consumption so the clumps break down.

I will be ordering this instead of the isolate going forward

I purchased one unflavoured and one chocolate and raspberry. I have found the unflavoured to be really strong but a bit better when I add in some watermelon BCAA. I like the chocolate and raspberry because it's a bit sour and tart'.

The powder is very fine and can be sticky if my hands aren't dry.

I usually use whey isolate but since purchasing these and using them during my workouts I have increased weights on everything. 5 stars on that alone. VERY happy.

Protein itself mixes well and is easy to digest but the taste is really awful even the Choc Raspberry flavour.

Bought the unflavoured and it tastes horrendous - very bitter (added into post work out oats with banana). Mixes in very easily. I thought I was ‘hardcore’ but this is too much for me!
Nb powder very fine so flies everywhere.
