Coconut Protein Cookies

Get variety in your diet and try out these crunchy and delicious cookies! They’re high protein and low sugar with the added benefit of sunflower seeds to give them a nutty taste. Sunflower seeds also assist with hormone balance, important for optimal training and recovery.


•    1 1/2c Shredded coconut
•    1/2c Sunflower seeds
•    1/2c NZProtein Vanilla Whey
•    2T Honey
•    1t Vanilla essence
•    1t Cinnamon
•    2T Melted coconut oil
•    1/4c Almond milk or water

•    Preheat oven 180oC fan bake
•    In a high speed blender, blitz the sunflower seeds
•    In a large bowl add all ingredients together and mix until a cookie dough forms
•    Scoop heaped tablespoon sized balls of cookie dough onto oven tray and flatten with a fork
•    Bake for 12 minutes or until golden
